Joseph Siravo

Joseph Siravo (born February 12, 1957) is an American actor and graduate of both Stanford and New York University's Graduate Acting Program at the Tisch School of the Arts. Among his most notable roles is that of "Johnny Boy" Soprano, father of Tony Soprano, on ''The Sopranos''. He is credited as the voice of Carmine in the Disney film ''The Wild''. Joseph also played the role of the main antagonist and vengeful Vincent 'Vinnie' Taglialucci in the 1993 film ''Carlito's Way'', who seeks revenge for the death of his father and brother at the hands of corrupt lawyer David Kleinfeld (Sean Penn), and falsely accuses Carlito Brigante (Al Pacino) of helping in the murder. Siravo co-starred in the film ''WiseGirls'' as the overbearing and misogynistic manager of a mob-owned restaurant. He has played more than 1,000 performances in the first national tour of "Jersey Boys" as Gyp DeCarlo and others. Siravo also starred in the HBO series of In Treatment as Jesse's father.
